LIBERTY DAHARKI POWER LIMITED is wholly owned by TNB Power Daharki Ltd. of Mauritius, which in turn is wholly owned by Asia PAK a major investment company.
The 235 MW Power Plant at Mirpur Mathelo, Daharki, Sindh, epitomizes the combination of offshore investment and technical expertise. The presence of Power Plant not only increase the electricity supply in Pakistan, but also contributes towards enhancing the socioeconomic growth in the locality of the plant. The utilization of indigenous gas fuel, instead of imported fuel oil, is a cost-effective measure that has increase the revenues of the Government of Pakistan in addition to saving its valuable foreign exchange since COD to date.
Progress and prosperity were the key concepts that spurred the inception of the project. The plant was designed accordingly to support the efforts of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) of PAKISTAN in stabilizing high voltage system and reducing system transmission losses in the national grid.
